We have measured transition probabilities (Einstein's A values) of 23 transitions in the singly ionized oxygen (O II) spectrum belonging mostly to high lying transitions using a relative line intensity ratio (RLIR) method. A linear low-pressure pulsed arc was used as an optically thin plasma source operated at 27 000 K electron temperature and 1.8 · 10 23 m -3 electron density in oxygen plasma. Measured A values have been compared to the recent theoretical and experimental data.en
