dc.description.abstractBaNi2(AsO4)2, whose synthesis and crystallographic data were described in literature, has been investigated. The investigation comprised the recording of the optical spectrum obtained by the method of diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and also the determination of the temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility, electric permittivity and electrical resistivity. An interpretation of the obtained results is presented.en
