We discus the Seiberg-Witten map and its application to noncommutative gauge theories. In particular, we present the method of composite fields which we find very useful when calculating higher order corrections in noncommutative gauge theories. Two examples are given: one is the calculation of the second order correction for the noncommutative Yang-Mills action and the other is the calculation of the corrections for the AdS inspired noncommutative gravity action. The second example we discuss in more details.en
