The concentration of the main bactericidal component of the air plasma jet (ozone) was determined using both IR and UV absorption spectroscopy to increase the reliability of the measurements. A study of the effects of the plasma jets on Staphylococcus aureus bacteria established that the air jet had a better inactivating effect than the helium jet. |
